Generator Technician - Abbotsford

The ideal candidate will be able to work with minimal supervision, the Technician will provide service and repairs to Diesel / Natural Gas / Propane and PTO generator sets, including reading electrical schematics and diagnosing generator system problems.

  • Minimum of 5 years experience
  • Maintains and owns their own basic hand tools.
  • Responsible for the safe operation of a company vehicle, and maintaining a safe and clean driving record. Drivers abstract needs to be clean.
  • Maintain the Company Service vehicle both mechanically as well as esthetically.
  • Diagnoses faults and failures or malfunctions using testing equipment to determine extent of repair required.
  • Adjusts equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems, using hand and power tools.
  • Tests repaired equipment for proper performance.
  • Ensures reports are thoroughly completed with NEAT handwriting.
  • ASTT certificate preferred.
  • Journeyman Electrician or Mechanic preferred or relevant proven experience.

Extended health benefits will come into effect after 3 months and we will assist with some moving expenses to the right candidate.

Electrical Apprentice - Abbotsford

We are seeking a full time Electrical Apprentice who is in their 3rd or 4th year and the ideal candidate will be able to work with minimal supervision.

  • Multi-family residential electrical experience is required.
  • Preference given to agricultural electrical experience.
  • Wood frame experience required.
  • Must have own hand tools and transportation.
  • Excellent  English communication skills mandatory.
  • Knowledge of Canadian/BC Electrical Code required.
  • Able to read blue prints.
